Why is it not advisable to frequently change the mold of the paper cup machine?

Publish Time:2024-04-16 04:01

While our machines are adaptable to different molds, especially those for varying cup sizes, we advise against frequent mold changes due to the following reasons:

1. Time-consuming process:

Changing molds is a time-intensive task, leading to production delays. Even for experienced technicians, it typically takes 1-2 hours to replace a half set of molds and up to a full day for a complete set.

2. Testing requirements:

Each mold replacement necessitates thorough testing of the machine to ensure proper production, leading to the wastage of paper cup materials during the testing phase.

3. Risk of damage:

The process of changing molds can increase the likelihood of damage to machine components, thereby affecting its overall efficiency and longevity.

4. Compatibility issues with high-speed machines:

For high-speed double plate paper cup machines, frequent mold changes are strongly discouraged due to the heightened risk of spare parts damage and potential production failures associated with the new mold.
